Perimeter Intrusion Detection

Long fence lines are hard to watch with fixed cameras. Thermal imaging and outdoor detectors cover wide arcs and classify people from animals and vehicles.

The problem

Fences get cut where nobody is looking

Palisade and Heras fencing set a boundary but do not tell you when it is crossed. Fixed cameras leave gaps, and infrared alone is defeated by fog, glare and distance.

  1. 1

    Thermal detection at range

Thermal imaging detects body heat well beyond infrared range and is not affected by darkness or fog.

  2. 2

    Line-crossing analytics

Virtual tripwires along the fence. Crossings by people or vehicles raise an alert; wildlife is filtered.

  3. 3

    Optical follow-up

A PTZ swings to the alert and captures an identifiable image automatically.

FAQs

Common Questions

How many cameras do I need for my perimeter?

It depends on shape, obstructions and detection range. Send us a site plan or postcode and we will propose a layout.

How long does a solar tower run without sun?

Several days to two weeks depending on the model and season. We size the battery for the site and the time of year.

Do you install cameras?

Yes, installation is available across the UK. We can also supply equipment for your own installer.

Do I need a monitored alarm?

Insurers often require monitoring for commercial premises. We can connect any system we supply to an alarm receiving centre.
